Bag made of 3 squares
PLAN
Contrasting colors give bold geometric effects.
Decide on width and height of bag.
The row length is the square width and the number of rows the square height.
I recommend 36 - 46cm, allow 1 stitch/cm (36cm = 36 stitches in a row). Even number for moss stitch.
Choose your colours per square. Each square is 1.5 - 2 balls depending on size.
Plan any stripes - to help choose colours.
Each square will be folded to form the bag.
MAKE SQUARES
Cast on 1 stitch per cm
Knit first row of square to get stitches loose on needle
Continue alternating knit, & purl stitches Moss stitch
When square is as high as wide cast off
REPEAT for 3 squares.
ASSEMBLE
Fold squares as per diagram
Place folded squares on table
Pin squares taking care to line up any stripes or colour variations into your design.
Stitch folded triangles together
To add a knitted handle cast on stitches from upper corners. Or consider knitting a tube and sewing on.
